Join The Potomac Rose Society on Sunday, April 27 at 2:00 PM EST for a presentation titled “Rose IPM Throughout the Year” by Nan McKay, and learn how to use natural enemies to combat rose pests.

After your roses leaf out, do you dread the threat of sawflies making lace out of your leaves? Are aphids attacking your awesome new growth? Do Japanese beetles make gardening in summer demoralizing? There’s an environmentally-conscious solution & it doesn’t involve spraying synthetic pesticides. Biological controls are the next step in an IPM strategy after cultural controls, and can be some of the most effective pest control solutions you’ve been searching for.

Nan McKay, Technical Sales Consultant with Koppert Biological Systems US, specializes in ornamental and cannabis production across Maryland, DC, and Virginia. Passionate about sustainable growing solutions, Nan's expertise in biological controls will help you tackle what’s bugging you this coming season with effective, timely solutions for healthier roses!  Koppert US is committed to working toward 100% sustainable agriculture by developing and promoting sustainable growing practices in partnership with nature.  Learn more about Koppert US here:  https://www.koppertus.com/about-koppert/our-company/#our-story
