Time to take in the fresh air as you view the spring blooming roses at Bon Air Memorial Rose Garden. The Potomac Rose Society will meet at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the Bon Air Memorial Rose Garden for a self-guided tour.  You will be able to stroll at your leisure to view 100+ roses bushes. Free parking is available adjacent to the garden.

The Bon Air Memorial Rose Garden was the brain child of Nellie Broyhill and her family who wanted to honor the Arlington area soldiers that fought in World War II.  She created the Arlington Rose Garden Foundation that raised funds and established the original memorial garden at the Virginia Hospital Center in 1951. The garden was relocated to its current site in Bon Air Park in 1964 and is now maintained by Arlington, VA county government.  Many of the roses in this garden have been recognized through the All American Rose Selections, an industry award given to roses from 1940 to 2013.
