Rose Rosette Disease is the most destructive ornamental plant disease in the United States, and it continues to have a devastating impact on rose gardens in the Washington, D. C. area. Fortunately, groundbreaking research suggests that some help may be on the horizon. To bring us up to date on the latest information, the Potomac Rose Society is pleased to once again welcome one of the nation’s leading authorities on Rose Rosette Disease, Dr. Mark Windham. Dr. Windham is Professor and Distinguished Chair at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he specializes in ornamental plant pathology.
